Saturday, April 29, from 10 am– 12 pm. | Pedals, Pipes, and Pizza

Would you like to see how a pipe organ is constructed?

Would you like to get to play one?

Would you like to help put one together?

We are excited to present this fun program which will include:

1. The Orgelkids kit: a kit of materials for putting together a small working model of a pipe organ. For more info about Orgelkids, click here.

The Greater Hartford chapter of AGO has graciously loaned its Orgelkids kit. Susan Carroll of GHAGO is our “Construction Manager” for the day.

2. A tour of the organ at Bethesda, led by Music Director Stephen Gamboa-Diaz. See info about music at Bethesda here. If you already have piano skills, come ready to try out the organ! There will be time for participants to play a short piece on the keyboards.

3. Pizza: Stay to the end to share some slices and smiles!

Admission is free; registration is required.
