United Church on the Green and our New Haven AGO chapter will once again sponsor a Bach in the Subways evening on Friday, March 20th, from 7-9PM. This is not a formal concert but rather a time to share the music of Bach in a stress-free environment. According to Bach in the Subways tradition, all of the musicians play for the love of Bach, and the “concert” itself is informal and folks can come and go as they please.
Sign up to play! Interested musicians can sign up for a 15-minute time-slot by writing to Caesar Storlazzi, United’s Music Director, at AveCesare@aol.com. The only requirement is that you play Bach!
In the past we have had organists, pianists, harpsichordists, woodwind quintets, oboe trios, and flute soloists. We even had an electric guitar play Air on the G String one year!
